The Secretary-General of the UN calls it a “moral outrage” and estimates that as much as $40 billion a year is required for the next three to five years.”  Compassion International

    This is a great cause and not only do they spread the gospel, they feed, clothe and educate poor children around the world which benefits not only the child but their family as well. I would encourage anyone to give to them.

    Also, in all honesty, sponsoring a child is one of the most inexpensive ways to feel good about yourself that there is! 🙂
